My approach to music is grounded in one conviction: our potential is greater than we imagine.

 

In my 35 years playing the guitar — which have led me to two degrees in classical guitar as well as the study of jazz, rock, and blues — and my 25 years teaching it — including over 1,000 students, I’ve worked to refine an approach to learning: one grounded in science, that has transformed my own playing and continues to transform the playing of others.
